Franklin Bronze Plaques’ capabilities include an extensive manufacturing and foundry facility devoted to the design, production and manufacturing of quality metal plaques for identification, dedication, architectural signage, commemoration and recognition. We manufacture and sell distinctive plaques to both distributors of our products and retail clients.

Our customers are worldwide and include universities, hospitals, museums, historic preservation agencies, numerous local and state government entities, military installations around the world and the federal government. Our manufacturing capabilities, coupled with prompt and reliable service and knowledgeable management and staff, enable Franklin Bronze Plaques to be recognized as a premier supplier of cast bronze plaques.

In business since 2006, some of our employees have been in the plaque manufacturing business for nearly 40 years. Located in NW Pennsylvania, Franklin Bronze Plaques manufactures cast bronze and aluminum plaques in-house from start to finish, including the graphics work, pattern creation, casting and finishing. Each plaque is manufactured with a textured background using the sand casting process; raised letters and graphics are hand-chased and sanded to a satin finish. The entire plaque is then sealed with a minimum of two coats of a high-quality acrylic lacquer.

Normal production time varies depending on our backlog, with April through November being our busiest months. Standard production runs approximately 4 – 8 weeks, plus time in transit, depending on the overall size and complexity of the order. We use Adobe Illustrator to create artwork and produce proofs for review within a few days of ordering, allowing customers to have a true visualization of the end product.
