What is Cast Bronze?
When a plaque is fabricated and cast they are usually made from aluminum or bronze. The casting process is used by most foundry facilities in the United States. Franklin Bronze uses Copper Development Association Alloy C9220 comprised of Copper 88%, Tin 6%m, Zinc 4% and Lead 2%. Cast Bronze is the most durable metal for use in the outdoors. Bronze will not rust when exposed to the elements.
