Bernie,

I just wanted to send you a little note and tell you that we had our stockholders meeting last night with the presentation of the plaque. It was so incredible. EVERYONE there could not believe how much you guys captured Carl on that plaque. There was not "one" person who could find fault with anything - even our most critical employee was in "awhhh" at what a great job you guys did. Of course, they were giving me credit but I told everyone that you all deserved the credit. Your artist is just amazing!!!! Carl's wife came in again this morning and is still crying at how much it really looks like Carl. We all thank you for the great job you did for us. Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved. Also, I am having our photographer take some photos and I will get one up to you for display. I got it approved from Mrs. Jones to send you a copy. She was delighted to do so.

Ms. Bernie Becker:

Hi, my name is Dr. Tim McCarthy, the husband of Maureen. I just want to say thanks for making the plaque for us. We are very pleased with the final product. Needless to say, my parents (James and Dorothy McCarthy) were very touched and speechless! For once, my father could not guess the present! Again, thanks for such a nice job and assistance along the way. Just so you know, the seal will be placed in the main entrance, so most patients will enjoy it!

Thanks very much,

Dear Bernie and Cynthia,

Ziggy was a soft coated Wheaton Terrier and a devoted loyal companion. Ziggy died after a valiant six month long battle with lymphoma. I finished Ziggy's gravestone and this weekend I intend to place it on his grave in the back corner of our yard under a large white pine tree where Ziggy menaced the squirrels relentlessly (or vice-a-versa). The stone is natural granite and weighs 100 to 120 lbs. It was one of ten rocks of similar size at a spot in the woods near our high school athletic fields where during one of their favored walks, Ziggy and Zoë encountered a large female raccoon. They enjoyed perhaps their finest moments as Wheaton Terriers as a result of the encounter. Both Ziggy and Zoë - and the raccoon - were credits to their respective ancestors and it was a magnificent and perfect encounter lasting maybe ten minutes - no one got hurt and everyone put on their best performance with the raccoon escaping gracefully via a deep creek running through the woods. Meanwhile Ziggy and Zoë were left almost exhausted yet satisfied while recounting their masterful employment of millions of years of genetic combat coding in the brief but furious battle.

Every time we passed that spot in the woods following the encounter with the raccoon, Ziggy and Zoë searched relentlessly for the raccoon but she was never to be seen again. I decided one of those stones would be an appropriate gravestone for Ziggy so I recovered this one from the woods, ordered the bronze plaque commemorating Ziggy which you created, and placed it in the stone. Someday one of the other stones will be appropriate for remembering Zoë.

Ziggy was a wonderful companion and I loved him as much as a human is capable of loving a dog. He was also a credit to his breed and all his ancestors and your plaque is a fitting symbol of Ziggy's beauty, strength, elegance and simple, wonderful zest for life. That's how I will remember him for always. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jerry Klein

Cynthia, we received the plaque today. It looks fantastic! Everyone loves it and the picture quality is excellent. Thank you for all your help.
