One of Pennsylvania's oldest continually operating foundries, Franklin Bronze & Alloy Company was established in 1878 and has since evolved into a 20,000 square foot casting facility. Franklin Bronze Plaques purchased the sand casting division in 2013, expanding our capabilities to include industrial sand castings and offering our expertise as a vendor in many customers’ supply chains.

Our sand casting division provides high-quality castings in a wide variety of non-ferrous, stainless steel and aluminum alloys serving numerous customers in a large number of manufacturing industries. Franklin Bronze Plaques employs a no-bake sand casting process, along with green sand molding on three squeezer production lines. For large parts, we use a chemically set sand casting system for unequaled precision.

Alloys we pour include brass, bronze, aluminum, and stainless steel. Sand castings can range from one inch to three square feet and may weigh up to 150 pounds. No order is too small or large, ranging from one to 50,000 pieces.
